Privacy policy
Last updated: August 26, 2026
DynoTuned Performance ("we," "us," "our") operates dynotuned.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have.
If you have questions, contact us at Sales@dynotuned.com or 608-688-3966.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
- Orders: name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, and payment information.
- Accounts: if you create a customer account, your name, email address, and order history.
- Contact and service requests: anything you send through our contact form, return requests, or by email or phone -- including vehicle details, part numbers, and any description of your build or issue.
- Marketing: your email address if you sign up for our list.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser type, IP address, pages viewed, referring site, and general location derived from your IP address.
- Cookies and similar technologies used to keep your cart, keep you signed in, and understand how the site is used.
Payment information. We do not collect or store full payment card numbers. Payments are processed by our payment providers, who receive your card details directly.
2. How we use it
- To process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and to handle returns.
- To communicate with you about orders, returns, and service requests.
- To provide technical and fitment support -- vehicle details you send us are used to confirm part compatibility.
- To send marketing email, if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email.
- To detect and prevent fraud, and to meet legal and tax obligations.
- To understand and improve how the site performs.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share it with the following categories of recipients, only as needed:
Shopify. Our e-commerce platform. Shopify hosts the store and processes orders and customer accounts on our behalf.
Payment processors. Shopify Payments, Shop Pay, PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. They process your payment and handle your card details directly.
Distributors and suppliers. Important: many of our products ship directly from our distributors and manufacturers rather than from our shop. To fulfill those orders, we provide your name, shipping address, phone number, and the items ordered to the relevant supplier -- including Turn 14 Distribution. They use that information to ship your order to you.
Shipping carriers. To deliver your order and provide tracking.
Service providers. Companies that support the store's operation, such as our product catalog sync application and our SEO tooling. These services work with product and catalog data. They may process limited data on our behalf under agreement.
Legal and safety. Where required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of others.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies that are necessary for the site to function -- keeping your cart and session -- and cookies that help us understand site usage.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking necessary cookies may prevent parts of the store, including checkout, from working.
We use only the analytics built into our e-commerce platform. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking or retargeting services, and we do not share your browsing activity with advertisers.
5. Your choices and rights
Everyone
- Marketing email: unsubscribe using the link in any marketing message, or email us. We will still send transactional messages about your orders.
- Account information: sign in to your account to view and update your details, or email us and we will help.
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, request a portable copy, opt out of sale or targeted advertising, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To make a request, email Sales@dynotuned.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will verify your identity before responding, usually by confirming information associated with your account or orders, and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
If you are an authorized agent making a request on someone's behalf, include proof of authorization.
6. How long we keep information
We keep order and transaction records as long as needed to fulfill orders, handle returns and warranty claims, and meet tax and accounting requirements -- typically seven years.
Account information is kept until you ask us to delete it. Contact form and service request messages are kept for two years. Marketing list membership is kept until you unsubscribe.
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, and our platform and payment providers maintain PCI-DSS compliance for payment data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Where your information is processed
We serve customers in the United States. Our service providers may process information in the United States and elsewhere.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be posted here.
